Realme launched its latest smartphone Realme U1 in India today at an event in New Delhi. The latest phone from Oppo’s sub-brand is a selfie-centric phone and comes with a 25MP selfie camera. It is also the first device to sport the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset that was launched last month. The Realme U1 sports a dewdrop notch display and dual rear cameras also. The smartphone will be available exclusively via Amazon India.
The Realme U1 sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 2.5D curved glass LCD panel. The display sports a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and it has a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset
The Redmi Note 5 comes in two storage & Ram variants – 3/32GB and 4/64GB, with support for microSD cards as well.
It is powered by a 3,500mAh battery, with 5V/2A Normal charging.
The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo based ColorOS 5.2
The sensors on the phone are an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Realme U1 comes in Ambitious Black, Brave Blue, and Fiery Gold color options.
